When I arrived in Mumbai and started painting, I was introduced to one of the biggest collectors of contemporary art in India. He owned a large Shoe Chain, and I suggested him that I would paint 12 oilpaintings for him, glorifying his shoes with the Slogan “Dare desirous dreams Darling, dare Dawood”. I painted the 12 oilpaintings. I returned home with the 12 paintings as the deal was not honoured. The couple from Mars was the first of the series out of which almost all others have Long been sold. This painting is a very important painting in my painting history. Needs to be restaured as there is mold in the painting which was painted during the monsoon season in a Hotel room.9,999 Euro, my second painting ever, Mumbai
